Local Bible AI Privacy Policy

Overview

Local Bible AI is designed to work primarily on your device.

What the app stores locally

• Your reading position, font size, bookmarks, highlights, notes, collections, reading-plan progress, and recent verse history.
• The bundled Bible translation included with the app.

What the app does not collect

• An account, login, or personal profile.
• Your normal reading and search activity on a remote Bible API.
• Your normal reading and search activity on a server.
• Analytics data or ad-tracking data.

AI features

Ask Bible AI runs on-device when available. Local Bible AI does not send your Bible questions to a remote Bible chat server. When Ask Bible AI is unavailable on your device or turned off in Settings, the app shows an unavailable message instead of sending your question to a remote Bible service.

Subscriptions and payments

Local Bible AI Pro subscriptions are handled through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple may process subscription, payment, and purchase information under Apple's terms and privacy policy. Local Bible AI does not receive your payment card details.

Sharing

If you choose Share for a verse or collection of verses, iOS may pass the shared text to the destination app you select.

Your control

You can remove saved notes, bookmarks, highlights, collections, and reading history from within the app or by clearing the app's local data from iOS.
